  1. Tunaponena kwa lugha si lazina kuwe na mfasiri, au si lazina kufasiri.

    Ulazima wa kufasiri unakuja pale unaponena kwa lugha kwenye kusanyiko ambapo unachokiongea kinapaswa kueleweka na kanisa zima.
    Na hilo ndilo hasa Paul alilisisitiza ktk kanisa la Korintho maana walipokielewa na kukipokea kipawa cha kunena kwa lugha kwa ilikuwa ni kama mashindano,kiasi kwamba asiyenena alionekana yeye hana Roho mt. Na ndipo Paul akatoa utaratibu wa jinsi ya kunena kwenye kusanyiko.

    Lakini unapokuwa unanena peke yako na kwa ajili yako si lazima utafsiri.
    Ndio maana Pau anasema yeye hunwna kuliko wote (maana yake akiwa mwenyewe ), lakini akiwa kwenye kusanyiko anatamani ahutubu(afundishe) zaidi kuliko kunena kwa lugha.

  3. Shukrani kwa Mwalimu John Paul. Umeelezea moja kwa moja kama Biblia inavyosema na kwa hekima ya Roho Mtakatifu, na wachangiaji wengine kwa maturity yenu ya kupembua na kuvuta subira na kupeana courtesy, maana ni kweli tunafunuliwa kwa sehemu, hakuna mmoja wetu ambaye yeye ni kinara zaidi ya wengine. Naishukuru sana blog hii, kwa siku chache hapo nyuma nimekuwa nikifuatilia maada kadha wa kadha ambazo zimenijenga sana. Na kwa hakika zimeujenga mwili wa Kristo. Yeye mwenye kutamani kuligawa neno sawasawa hakosi fursa hiyo. Pia kwa umahiri huo wa Roho Mtakatifu kwa kuwatumia waalimu kama John Paul, Haule, Antony na wengine nimepokea kuwa na subira pale ninapotatizwa na hata kama mambo mageni akilini mwangu. Na ninajua hawa waalimu ni wanenaji kwa lugha.

    Mchango wangu kwa ufupi sana ni kwamba kunena kwa lugha ni kipawa (zawadi) ambayo ipo kwaajili ya watu woooooote waliookoka (waliozaliwa na Mungu). Lakini sio wote hao huipokea hiyo zawada. Na si kweli kwamba usiponena kwa lugha unakuwa haujaokoka. Ukweli ni kwamba waliookoka wanapewa hii zawadi (Mdo 2:38) ila inahitaji mtu binafsi kutamani sana, kiasi cha kutamani huku ni kufikia kiwango kwamba mtu hawezi kuishi bila kunena kwa lugha, ukifikia kutamani kiasi hicho, utapokea. Kuna mwalimu mmoja anasema na nitamnukuu, “If you can live without speaking in tongues, or without the Holy Spirit you will”. Maana yake kwamba, kama unaweza tu kuendelea na maisha yako kawaida tu bila Kipaya cha Roho Mtakatifu, au cha kunena kwa lugha, utaendelea tu kwa sababu utaona mambo yako yako sawa tu, lakini kama utatamani mabadiliko yeyote katika maisha yako, usiishi yale maisha ya kawaida utamani na utapokea kipawa cha Roho Mtakatifu ambaye ana hizo karama zote.
    Wengi hushidwa kupokea karama hii kwa sababu ya hofu. Kunena kwa lugha kumehusishwa na mapepo (ingawa pia kuna haja ya kuwa makini), na dharau za watu kama hapo kwenye Mdo 2:13. Hivyo mtu anapata hofu kwamba asije akawa ananena lugha za kipepo au watu wakamdharau. Cha msingi kwa mtu hapa ni kuendelea katika neno la Mungu, kutafakari na kuomba; ukiwa katika uwepo huo hautamwonea mtu aibu, wala hautanena lugha za mapepo. Chukua tu hatua ili uweze kupokea, na ukiishanena hata kama ni maneno mawili, endeleza; endelea wewe kunena kwa lugha ukiwa peke yako, kwenye foleni, chumbani kwako, na kila wakati ambapo akili yako inakuwa idle (kwa sauti ambayo wengine hawataisikia na kukwazika). Wengi wanafikiri kunena kwa lugha ni ishara tu, na mtu ananena pale tu anapopokea Ubatizo kwa Roho Mtakatifu, au kama sehemu ya mwisho ya kumalizia maombi kwa mhemko. Paulo anasema 1 Corithians 14:18-19, “I thank God, I speak with tongues more than you all, yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue).     Kitu kingine kinachochelewesha watu kunena kwa lugha ni fikra kwamba anayenena ni Roho Mtakatifu. Ukweli ni kwamba anayenena ni mtu mwenyewe, na siyo Roho Mtakatifu (Mdo 2:4, “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance). Kwahiyo watu wengi husubiri Roho Mtakatifu awashukie kwa nguvu bila ndipo wanene kwa lugha.

    Wengine wanasema siyo wote wanenao kwa lugha kama ithibitishayo 1Corinthians 12 :29,” Are all Apostles? are all prophets? do all speak with tongues? do all inteprete?….. Ndani ya moyo wangu nina amani kwamba hapa Paulo anaongelea kule kunena ndani ya kanisa, huku ndiko ambako siyo kila mtu ananena na kufasiri. Lakini kule kunena peke yako, ni kwa ajili ya watu wote waliopokea kipawa cha Roho Mtakatifu (Marko 16:17).

    Wengine huwa na shaka kwamba, yamkini Mungu hataki wao wapokee kipawa cha Roho Mtakatifu. Hii nayo si kweli Hebu tazama Luke 11:13, “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?”. Kumbe basi ni mapenzi na kiu kuu ya Mungu kuwapa hao wanahitaji kipawa cha Roho Mtakatifu na karama zake.

    Nihitimishe kwa kugusia habari y kunena kwa lugha na kufasiri. Pia hapa, kila anenaye kwa lugha inampasa aombe apewe na kufasiri, 1Corinthians 14:13, “Therefore he that speaks in unknown tongue let him pray that he may inteprete”
    Ni muhimu sana unenapo kwa lugha upewe na kufasiri. Ili kule kunena kwako kuwe na matunda. Maana 1Corinthians 13:14 anasema unaponena kwa lugha roho yako inaomba lakini akili yako haina matunda, kwahiyo hauwezi kufahamu kwa akili yako kile unachokiomba. Inawezekana maombi yako yakamfungua mtu, yakaepusha ajali n.k. Faida ziko nyingi mno, kiasi kwamba haiingii akilini, kwanini mtu asitamani kunena kwa lugha.

    Ni vizuri tukachambua kwa kina pia faidi za kunena kwa lugha, ili yeye azijuaye aweze kuona umuhimu wake, na yeye anenaye aweze kujizalia matunda. Tutaendelea wakati mwingine na hatua hii. Kwakuwa watu wengi huwa hawafanyi jambo lolote wasipoelewa kinagaubaga faida za kufanya jambo lile.

Nashukuru Mungu kwa maswali na majibu mengi ya wote juu ya habari ya kunena kwa lugha.Ushauri wangu ni kwamba wale ambao hawajaokoka na wanataka kujua habari ya kunenakwa lugha basi hawana budi kuokoka kwanza,sababu jambo la kunena kwa lugha hapo zamani kabla makanisa ya Pentekoste hayajasambaa kama hivi sasa swala hili lilionekana kama kituko lakini nafurahi kwa maswali haya yote inaonyesha ni jinsi gani ambavyo watu sasa wameanza kuona au kugundua ukweli au maana ya neno la Mungu kwa uhalisia zaidi na kuondokana na ile zana potofu iliyokuwa inatoka kwa shetani moja kwa moja kwamba kunena kwa lugha ni mapepo,kitu ambacho watu bila kujua walikuwa pengine wanamkufuru Roho mtakatifu.

    Jambo hili la kunena kwa lugha ni la muhimu kwa muumini wa kweli ikiwa anataka kuingia mbinguni,sisiti kusema kwamba inawezekana kabisa kwamba ikiwa mtu atakosa kunena kwa lugha basi hata kuuingia ufalme kwake ikawa ni ndoto na ngumu sana,sababu kwa nini hujajazwa Roho mtakatifu na unapokuwa hujajazwa Roho mtakatifu unawaza nini moyoni mwako ? Je una kashfu au una kiu nayo hali ya kunena kwa lugha,hilo ni swali ambalo jibu analo mtu mwenyewe maana Roho mtakatifu hawezi kumdanganya kamwe. Pia watu wanaokosa kunena kwa lugha wanapungukiwa na si kupungukiwa bali wanakosa mengi kama si yote,sababu hata maombi yao yanakuwa hayana hakika,maana Roho mtakatifu au kunena kwa lugha kuna kuonyesha pia ni jinsi gani wakati mwingine Mungu anavyozungumza kupitia Roho wake na unaondoka na majibu yako wakati mwingine palepale hata bila kusubiri. Kunena kwa lugha kunamfanya mtu aweze kuomba kwa muda mrefu zaidi kuliko mtu asiyeweza kunena kwa lugha, hata Petro na wengine walishindwa kuomba hata kwa saa limoja mpaka Yesu akawauliza ”hamkuweza kukesha nami hata kwa saa moja ? lakini baada ya Petro kujazwa Roho Mtakatifu, akawa jasiri na hata akaanza kuwaombea na wengine ujazo wa Roho mtakatifu.

    Ninacho amini ni kwamba,hata utakatifu mtu anaupata vizuri pale anapojazwa Roho mtakatifu,na kwa kuwa Kujazwa Roho kunakuja baada ya Mtu kuokoka basi hata kuokoka huleta utakatifu kwa mtu.K abla ya kuokoka mtu atakuwa mtaua tu ila utakatifu kamwe hawezi mtu kuupata pasipo kuokoka,Kornelio aliitwa mtauwa kwa sababu alikuwa bado hajaokoka Mdo 10;2

    Kutokana na mafundisho ya Yesu mtu ambaye hajaokoka hawezi kunena kwa sababu kunena kwa lugha kunatakiwa kuje kwa mtu kama ishara ya kwamba anamwamini Yesu au kwa maneno mengine ameokoka. [Mark 16:17]

    Sijaelewa vizuri mazingira ambayo yatampelekea mtu ambaye hajaokoka kunena kwa lugha kwamba alikuwa kanisani, nyumbani, kwenye mkutano wa injili au sehemu nyingine yoyote. Ili mtu aweze kunena kwa lugha ni lazima awe kwenye mazingira yanayoweza kumsaidia kufanya hivyo. Mtu akiwa baa, au kwenye uwanja wa mpira, kwenye ukumbi wa muziki akicheza, au wakicheza bao, au yuko nyumbani kwake akiangalia mfano ISIDINGO kwenye TV ni baadhi ya mazingira ambayo siyo rafiki kwa ajili kumfanikisha mtu kunena kwa lugha.

    Sasa kwa mtu ambaye hajaokoka halafu akanena kwa lugha ni lazima kuwe na mazingira ambayo yalimpelekea kufanya hivyo. Mtu ambaye hamwamini Yesu hawezi kuwa katika mazingira ya kumsababisha anene kwa lugha kama si yeye kuchukuwa hatua ya kwenda katika au kuandaa mazingira hayo. Na ile hatua anayochukuwa mtu kuandaa au kwenda katika mazingira hayo tayari inaonyesha kuna kiwango fulani cha imani kwa Yesu moyoni mwake. Jambo la kuelewa hapa ni kwamba KUOKOKA si kule KUSEMA KWA MDOMO tu bali ni kule KUAMINI MOYONI. Kwa maneno mengine mtu anaweza kuwa anamwamini Yesu na kumpokea moyoni lakini hajatangaza kwa watu kwamba ameokoka. Kwa mtu wa namna hii yawezekana kabisa akanena kwa lugha ikiwa atakuwa kwenye mazingira ya kusababisha hilo na pia ikiwa moyoni mwake ana kiu hiyo.

    Jambo jingine ambalo naliona linaweza kuhusiana na swali uliloleta ni kwamba yawezekana mtu alikuwa ameokoka kwa namna ambayo nimeieleza hapo juu na hivyo kumsababisa anene kwa lugha lakini baada ya hapo aliendelea ‘kujificha’ kutangaza kwamba ameokoka ili apate ushirika wa jamii ya wapendwa na mwisho wake wokovu wake ukayeyuka kimya kimya na yeye kubakia hivyo hivyo mkavu. Mtu wa namna hii hawezi kubisha suala la kunena kwa lugha kwa sababu lilishamtokea ingawa kwa wakati huo atakuwa hajaokoka maana wokovu wake ulishapotea kutokana na kujificha! Ndiyo maana watu hao unaokutana nao wanakuambia kwamba WALISHAWAHI KUNENA na SIYO WANAENDELEA KUNENA! [kama nilikuelewa vizuri]

    Hivi ndivyo nilivyojibu kwa sasa. Lakini kama sikuelewa swali au majibu yangu yamesababisha swali jingine unaweza kuuliza tu ili tuendelee kujifunza. Yawezekana pia ukawa na maelezo mengine kuelezea swali lako ambayo yanaweza kusababisha lieleweke zaidi ya nilivyolielewa, pia unaweza kuyaandika.

    Ninavyoelewa mimi kupungua/kukosekana kwa utendaji kazi wa baadhi ya karama za Roho Mtakatifu katika kanisa kwa sasa kumefanya mambo mengi ya rohoni yafanyike kwa mapungufu mengi. Ni kweli kabisa jambo hili la mtu kunena lakini akiwa na mapepo lipo. Kinachosababisha hali hii ni kukosekana kwa karama ya UTAMBUZI WA ROHO iliyoandikwa katika 1Cor 12:10 “To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues…”.

    Mfano wa utendaji kazi wa karama hii ya utambuzi wa roho ni pale mtume Petro alipomwambia Yesu kwamba yale mambo aliyokuwa anayasema Yesu kuwa imempasa kuteswa na kuuawa hayatakiwi yatokee kabisa. Lakini kwa mtazamo wa rohoni Yesu alitambuwa kwamba yale maneno yalikuwa yakitoka kwa shetani ambaye aliyaingiza moyoni kwa Petro ndipo akamkemea shetani. Mathew 16:23.

    Mahali ambapo karama hii inafanya kazi hapawezi kuwa na roho inayojificha kwa kisingizio cha kunena kwa lugha. Maneno ambayo huwa yananenwa na mapepo kwa lugha isiyoeleweka maana yake huwa SI njema. Ili kuyaelewa hayo karama ya utafsiri wa lugha inatakiwa ifanye kazi yake. Kukosekana kwa karama hii nako huchangia kuwepo kwa tatizo hili.

    Kwa ujumla wake ni kwamba tatizo la kunena kwa lugha lakini mtu huyo akawa na mapepo hunatokana na kupoa kwa kanisa kiroho. Kupoa huku huondoa utendaji kazi wa karama za Roho mtakatifu.

    Hali ya kiroho sasa hivi siyo nzuri kwa sababu kinachoshabikiwa zaidi katika kanisa ni kuponywa kwa wagonjwa tu na miujiza.

Hatupaswi kuzuia kunena kwa lugha, ila tunaweza kuweka utaratibu ulinganao na maandiko ili karama hii iwe na MANUFAA kwa Wana wa Mungu mmojammoja na kwa Kanisa kwa ujumla.

    Niliandikwa kwamba ningerudi kuchangia tena kama ningekuwa na la kusema.

    Ulisema kwamba wewe binafsi unaposoma katika 1Korintho 14 unaona kinachosisitizwa hapa ni kuwa kunena kwa lugha kwa aina yeyote (unabii, kujijenga, kusifu) iwe mahali pa binafsi sio katika kusanyiko; na ukatoa nukuu hii:
    1Kor.14:23If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?

    Lakini mimi nikiendelea zaidi na andiko hilo hilo katika mstari wa 24 na 25 kuna maneno haya:
    -24 But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all:
    -25 And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.

    Kutokana na maneno katika mstari wa 23,24 na 25 mimi nikiyachanganya pamoja napata maana hii kwamba:
    Kama mtu ambaye hajaokoka au haelewi lugha zinazonenwa akiingia katika kanisa anaweza kuwaona watu wale kama wendawazimu. Lakini kama akiingia akakuta wote wanatabiri {unabii} atabainishwa na wote, atahukumiwa na wote kwa hiyo siri za moyo wake zitakuwa wazi na hivyo atamwabudu Mungu, akianguka kifudifudi na kukiri kwamba kwa hakika Mungu yu kati ya wale watu. Kwa sababu gani atasema hivi?…kwa sababu amekuta unabii unasemwa na watu wale. Hapa naona ni tofauti na lile ulilolisema wewe kwamba kunena kokote, iwe unabii, kusifu, kujijenga; inatakiwa iwe faragha; kwa sababu hapa maandiko yanabainisha wazi kwamba kama mtu asiye amini akikuta kuna unabii pale hilo litasababisha atambuwe hakika ya kwamba Mungu yupo mahali pale.

    Suala la kuzingatia ni kwamba unabii unaozungumziwa hapa ni ule wa mtu kunena kwa lugha inayoeleweka au kwa lugha iziyoeleweka lakini ikatafsiriwa [1Cor 14:27].

    Kuhusu suala la mtume Paul kwenye maneno uliyonukuu hivi: 1Kor.14:18-19 I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all: Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.

    Mimi ninachoelewa hapa ni kwamba kwa kusema hivyo mtume Paul hakuwa anapiga marufuku kunena kwa lugha hadharani lakini alikuwa ana maanisha kwamba haitakuwa na maana kama ataongea kwa maneno elfu kumi kwa lugha isiyojulikana. Cha kukumbuka hapa ni kwamba ni Paul huyu huyu alisema kwamba mtu akinena kwa lugha isiyojulikana halafu ikawa hakuna mtafsiri hiyo haitakuwa na faida yoyote. Maneno haya yanamjumuisha na yeye kwamba kama yeye pia atanena kwa lugha isiyojulikana lakini yakatafsiriwa yatawafaidia wasikilizaji lakini kama hakuna tafsiri iwe ni yeye au mtu mwingine anaye nena maneno hayo hayatakuwa na faida yoyote! Kwa hiyo suala la muhimu hapa ni kule kueleweka kwa yale maneno yanayonenwa mahali hapo.

    Maneno mengine anayosema mtume Paul ni haya hapa kwenye 1Cor 14:12-13;
    Even so ye, for as much as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church. Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret.
    Maana ninayoipata hapa ni kwamba jambo la muhimu hapa ni kule kutafsiri lugha ili kanisa liweze kujengwa. Na hili ni kwa maneno yanayonenwa kwa lugha isiyoeleweka kanisani, kwenye kusanyiko, ambayo yakitafsiriwa yatajenga kanisa. [maneno yanayonenwa faragha wakati mnenaji yuko mafichoni hayawezi kujenga kanisa maana hawatayasikia]

    Pia kuna maneno zaidi katika 1Cor 14:26 yasemayo: How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.

    Yaani kwamba wapendwa wanapokutana [kanisani, nyumbani kwa mtu nk] kama kuna mwenye zaburi, mwenye fundisho, mwenye lugha [kunena], mwenye tafsiri, yote yatendeke kwa kusudi la kujenga!

    Kwa hiyo suala muhimu katika kunena kwa lugha ni kule kueleweka kwa kile kinachonenwa na hasa linapokuja suala la kwennye kusanyiko kama vile kanisani!

    Mtume Paul pia anasema katika 1Cor 14:39-40 kwamba
    Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues. Let all things be done decently and in order.

    Hapa Paul mtume Paul anahitimisha mada yake kwa kuwasisitiza watu watamani/watake sana kuhutubu lakini vile vile wasizuwie kunena kwa lugha. La kuzingatia katika mambo yote haya ni kwamba yote yatendeke kwa uzuri na kwa utaratibu!

    Mimi pia ninaishia hapa kuhusiana na dialogue hii labda kama kutakuwa na jambo jingine la kujadili zaidi ya hili la kunena kwa lugha kwenye kusanyiko.

  14. Ndugu yangu John namshukuru Mungu kwa hekima aliyokupa, Mungu azidi kukuongezea Hekima na Maarifa hayo. NIMEJIFUNZA MENGI ZAIDI YA NILIYOHITAJI KUFAHAMU KUTOKANA NA RESPONSE YAKO kwa maswali niliyouliza. Pamoja na majibu hayo naomba nisisitize na kuuliza yafuatayo:-
    Ninanukuu ulivyosema “Mambo haya ya mtu kunena kwa lugha nyingine ya kibinaadamu yalikuwa yanatendeka hadi miaka michache iliyopita……Tunapenda mno kufanya tunavyotaka na si kumwachia Roho wa Mungu achukuwe Control.” Ni hatari sana kutaka kumwongoza Roho Mtakatifu ambae ni Mungu ajuae mengi mno mno kuliko tuyajuayo na mwenye uwezo wa ajabu kuliko tunavyofahamu. Kama ulivyosema Theology zimekuwa nyingi mno. Tukimwachia Roho wa Mungu achukue control hatutahitaji kuwaambia watu waseme asante Yesu mara nyingi au waseme kwa lugha kama tulivyozoea kusikia, bali atafanya mwenyewe anavyotaka kwa wakati wake, tusilazimishe kwani hawa walio wachanga wanaweza kumkosa Mungu kwa kufuata theology zetu. Nakumbuka Siku ile ya Pentakoste hawakujua hata kunena kwa lugha kuko je, kwa hiyo walikuwa wamemwachia Roho Mtakatifu afanye mwenyewe alichotaka afanye, na alifanya. Siku petro alipoenda kwa Kornelio pia kwenye ratiba yake yumkini hapakuwepo kunena kwa lugha, ila alipokuwa anaendelea kuwafundisha Roho Mtakatifu kwa kile mwandishi alichoita ghafla aliwahudumia watoto wa Mungu.

    Katika maneno haya uliyoandika
    “Hapa tunapata point kwamba ujumbe huu ni mahsusi kwa ajili ya manabii, yaani mtu ambaye ndani yake amefunuliwa ujumbe kwa ajili ya kanisa…… Kunena kwa lugha ambako siyo unabii katika kusanyiko hakuwezi kuwa ni machafuko. Kama tu ilivyokuwa kwa siku ya Pentekoste kwamba watu walikuwa wakinena kwa lugha tofauti tofauti kwa wakati mmoja. Lakini kila mtu alipata ujumbe kwa lugha yake. Watu wanaponena kwa lugha kwa pamoja wengine huwa wanamsifu na kumwabudu Mungu, wengine wanabomoa ngome za giza, wengine wanaongezea nguvu za kiroho nk. Kunena huku si machafuko. Kunena kunakokuwa ni machafuko ni kule kunena ambako ndani yake kuna unabii lakini haufasiriwi au watu zaidi ya mmoja wakatoa unabii kwa pamoja!”

    Binafsi ninaposoma katika 1Korintho 14 naona kinachosisitizwa hapa ni kuwa kunena kwa lugha kwa aina yeyote (unabii, kujijenga, kusifu) iwe mahali pa binafsi sio katika kusanyiko; nukuu 1Kor.14:23If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?
    Pia katika 1Kor.14:27-31 27If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret. 28But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God. 29Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge. 30If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace. 31For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.
    Katika mstari wa 27 na 28 anazungunza juu ya kunena kwa lugha kusiko unabii kunakolenga mtu binafsi kuzungunza na Mungu na katika mstari wa 29 hadi 31 anazungunza juu kunena kwa lugha kwa unabii kunakolenga Roho Mtakatifu kusema na watu. katika aina zote hizi ni lazima kuwepo utaratibu wa 2 au 3 kwa zamu na mtafsiri.     Katika 1Kor.13:1 sina shida na tafsiri tofauti iwe za Kiswahili au kiingereza kuwa ni charit au love, la msingi ni zile qualities za hicho kinachoitwa upendo au charity; baadhi ya hizi qualities zinaonekana pia ktika matunda ya Roho Mtakatifu. Kama Neno la Mungu linavyozungunza katika mlango huu hata kama ukifanya mambo makubwaaaa na hata kunena kwa lugha kama huna upendo ni bure. Kwa mantiki yangu nadhani upendo ambao ni tunda(fruit) la Roho Mtakatifu ni muhimu sana kuliko hata kunena kwa lugha ingawa kila anachokifanya Roho Mtakatifu kina umuhimu wake kwa wakati wake.

    Naomba pia ufanye ulinganifu sahihi unapolinganisha Charity na Love. Ninaomba ndg John usiseme kwa urahisi tu kuwa “charity ni zaidi ya upendo”. Endelea kutamani kujifunza zaidi nini maana ya upendo kwani maana uliyoitoa ni finyu sana.

    I am contributing to the question which Sister Rose has asked and if I understood her well she wants to know whether she speaks in tongues or not, since when praying she utters kakakaaa “faithfully”, however she has been told that its “pepo”.
    First I want to make it clear to you that when you receive Jesus Christ as Lord of your life, spiritual death is taken from you and you become a new creature in Christ. And without the Holy Spirit, your new birth wouldn’t be possible. It is the Holy Spirit that comes to dwell in you and live in you. But even after you become a new creation, God’s desire and plan is that you receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.
    Apostle Paul clearly taught that we receive the Holy Spirit the moment we believe in Jesus Christ as our Savior. Acts 19:2 ‘Did you receive the Holy Spirit when ye believed?” 1 Corinthians 12:13 declares, “For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body-whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free – and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.” Romans 8:9 tells us that if a person does not possess the Holy Spirit, he or she does not belong to Christ – “You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.” Ephesians 1:13-14 teaches us that the Holy Spirit is the seal of salvation for all those who believe, “Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession-to the praise of his glory.”

    We receive the Holy Spirit and His gifts by faith in God. The Lord said, if ye then being evil know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him (Lk 11:13).

    The first occurrence of speaking in tongues occurred on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2:1-4. ….And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in tongues as the spirit gave them utterance. It is the work of the Holy Spirit to give us the utterance.

    Bibles says in Ephesians 5:18 that we should be filled with the Spirit. We should be so completely yielded to the Holy Spirit that He can possess us fully, and in that sense, fill us. Although the Holy Spirit dwells within every believer John 14:16, but He can be grieved (Ephesians 4:30), and His activity within us can be quenched (1 Thessalonians 5:19). When we allow this to happen, we do not experience the fullness of the Holy Spirit’s working and power in and through us. To be filled with the Spirit implies freedom for Him to occupy every part of our lives, guiding and controlling us. His power then can be exerted through us so that what we do is fruitful to God. The filling of the Spirit does not apply to outward acts alone; it also applies to the innermost thoughts and motives of our actions. Psalm 19:14 says, “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable to you, O Lord my strength, and my redeemer.”

    When you are filled with the Holy Spirit as in the book of acts, you speak in tongues. Speaking in tongues happens as the Holy Spirit prays through you about things you may not know about. So when you pray in tongues what actually happens is that the Holy Spirit searches your heart and prays through you the perfect will of God (Rom 8:26-27).

    However, do not base your belief on whether your experience is the same as someone else’s. We may all have differing experiences but the bible is our guide. The twelve men in Ephesus spoke in tongues when Apostle Paul laid hands on them (19:6), whilst others spoke when they were in one accord (Acts 2:1-4)… in prayer and supplication (Acts 1:14). The gentiles received the gift of speaking in tongues as they listened to the word (Acts 10.44).

    Bible says that he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him, however in the spirit he speaks mysteries. It may sound kakakakaa as you are experiencing now but you may be uttering the secret truths and hidden things which are not obvious to the understanding of your mind (1 Cor 14:2).

    You must lift your voice in faith and give sound to the utterance within you. Psalm 81.10 says …I am the Lord your God,.. open your mouth wide, and I will fill it. Ask the Holy Spirit to take charge of your tongue and then yield your tongue to His use.

    Dada Rose, usiwe na shaka unafanya sawa kabisa, Upinzani huo ulinitokea miaka ya nyuma pia, mikono, saa nyingine miguu inatetemeka, kama moto unapita hivi ama nguvu ya tofauti ndani yangu, na kama nikiwa naomba mwenyewe hupata nguvu mpya na kuomba masaa mengi zaidi, na pia ninapokua muabudu na Kumsifu Mungu, napata nyimbo nyimbo mpya na mafunuo ya Neno la Mungu.

    Nikija kanisani ilikua kazi, yaani tukiwa katika sifa au maombi hali ile ilikua ikiendelea zaidi, miguu, na mikono hutetemeka kwa nguvu, mara nyingine ikikaribia kipindi cha sifa nilikua natoroka kanisani inapofika wakati huo kwa kuhofia ninawakwaza watu.

    Siku moja nikamuuliza mtu mmoja, akasema hizo zinaweza kuwa nguvu za giza au hiyo hali inapotokea nijizuie. Nikawaza sijawahi kuwa na nguvu za giza wala kwetu sijaona, pia nikijaribu kujizuia ninashindwa, Niliogopa sana sikua na amani. Ilipita miezi miwili siendi kanisani, siombi, naogopa nikijua ile hali sio nguvu ya kawaida. Wakati mwingine nasukumwa kuomba, mimi nashindana siombi. Sikua na amani kabisa

    Ikabidi niongee na mchungaji wangu hali ninayojisikia, akaniambia hizo ni nguvu za Mungu, Mungu amenipa huduma au karama mbalimbali, hivyo nikizidi kuwa mwaminifu Kwa Mungu atanitumia kwa wakati wake. Akaniambia nisiache na wala nisijizuie, hiyo hali inakuja yenyewe, Mungu anataka kufanya kitu kwako, nisimzime Roho Mtakatifu, alizidi kunitia moyo, akaniombea, nikawa nina amani sana.

    Rose endelea na usiache, Kuna wapendwa wengine watakusema unajidai wa kiroho sana usiwaogope, huo ni uhusiano wako wewe na Mungu, na Mungu anajua anataka kufanya nini kwako, kwa wakati gani, Pia jihadhari na hao wanamaombi, Roho Mtakatifu sio wa kumpangia, humjia mtu kwa jinsi apendavyo yeye kwa makusudi yake yeye mwenyewe na kwa utofauti kadiri apendavyo yeye. USIMZIMISHE ROHO MTAKATIFU

    Mimi ninachangia kwa kujibu maswali yako kwa namna ambayo nitaweza kwa sasa. Lengo la kujibu ni kufanya tuendelee kujifunza na majibu yangu siyo kwamba ndiyo majibu pekee. Na kama kueleza kwangu hapa kutasababisha swali jingine mtu yuko huru kuuliza ili tuendelee kujifunza.

    1.Swali la kwanza umeuliza kama ni sahihi kumfundisha mtu kunena kwa lugha kwa mfano kumwambia aseme ‘Asante Yesu’ mfululizo.

    Kutokana na andiko ulilonukuu, yaani Acts 2:4, inaonyesha wazi kabisa kwamba anayewezesha mtu kunena kwa lugha ni Roho Mtakatifu mwenyewe. Roho ni Uungu. Kwa hiyo haiwezekani na si sahihi binadamu kumfundisha mwenzake kunena kwa lugha kwa sababu hiyo si lugha ya kujifunza kama lugha zingine. Na wala si ya kukariri kwamba kila mara mtu atanena maneno hayo hayo!

    Ninachoelewa mimi lengo la kumwambia mtu aseme maneno kama ‘Asante Yesu’ mfululizo ni sawa na lengo la kumwambia mtu ‘afunge macho’ wakati anaomba. Kumwambia mtu aseme maneno fulani mfululizo lengo lake ni kuufanya moyo wake usitange tange huko na huko kwenye mawazo. Ni kumfanya mtu asahau matatizo na mambo mengine ya mwilini aliyo nayo ili ajenge mawasiliano na mazingira mazuri ya Roho wa Mungu kufanya kazi. Inawezeka kabisa wakati wa kuomba hapo mtu akawa anakumbuka matatizo aliyokutana nayo kazini, au akawa anawaza kuhusu, labda, nguo zake alioacha ameanika nje. Kuwaya-waya kwa mawazo kwa namna hii huondoa mazingira mazuri ndani ya moyo wa mtu kiasi kwamba wakati Uungu unashuka moyo unakuwa una mambo mengine. Roho mtakatifu ni gentle, havamii na wala halazimishi mtu.

    Hata hivyo hii siyo kanuni. Si kila mtu anayesema ‘Asante Yesu’ mfululizo hufanikiwa kunena kwa wakati huo huo. Inawezekana pia mtu akasema ‘asante Yesu’ kwa kinywa tu kumbe moyoni bado kuna matatizo. Kwa hiyo ambacho huwa kinafanyika ni kumsaidia mtu ili aweze kuuandaa moyo kwa kuondoa mawazo yote yote yanayoweza kumkwamisha. Kuna wengine pia hunena hata pasipo kutamka kwanza maneno fulani yenye utaratibu. Kwa hiyo jambo la muhimu hapa ni maandalizi ya moyo wa mtu. Jitihada zingine hizi za kibinaadamu ni kumsaidia tu kuuandaa moyo.

    2. Ni kweli kabisa kwamba siku ya Pentecoste wale watu walinena kwa lugha tofauti na lugha zao, mfano kama Wagogo wangekuwepo siku hiyo wangejikuta wakinena kwa Kimaasai; au Wasukuma wakajikuta wakiongea Kimakonde. Ndivyo ilivyo kuwa. Lakini jambo la muhimu kuzingatia hapa ni kile kilichokuwa kinanenwa katika lugha hizo ngeni kwao. Acts 2:11 inaeleza kwamba walikuwa wakinena habari za Matendo Makuu ya Mungu.

    Mambo haya ya mtu kunena kwa lugha nyingine ya kibinaadamu yalikuwa yanatendeka hadi miaka michache iliyopita. Nilishapata ushuhuda mmoja kwamba ilitokea Mhaya mmoja akiwa Bukoba akanena kwa Kinyarwanda. Na kumbe aliyokuwa ananena ni unabii. Ndipo akatokea mtu mmoja aliyetafsiri ili watu wasiojuwa Kinyarwanda waweze kuelewa. Sina uhakika kama siku hizi inaendelea kutokea kwenye makanisa yetu. Tunapenda mno kufanya tunavyotaka na si kumwachia Roho wa Mungu achukuwe Control. Theology zimekuwa nyingi mno. Mbinu za kibinaadamu ni nyingi sana. Kuiga wanadamu ni kwingi mno. Nk,nk.

    Sababu za Roho Mtakatifu kuwafanya watu hao kunena kwa lugha wasizosifahamu na ambazo ni za kibinaadamu ilikuwa ni pamoja na”
    i) Kuonyesha kwamba Roho Mt. anaweza kufanya yasiyowezekana kwa binaadamu.
    ii) Kuwatangazia wale watu waliokuwa pale habari za Mungu
    iii) Kuonyesha kwamba mtu mtakatifu anaweza kutumika kama ‘chombo’ tu kwa ajili ya utendaji kazi wa Roho wa Mungu.

    Ndiyo maana katika Mathayo 10:18-20 Yesu alitamka maneno yafuatayo ya kinabii:
    “And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.”

    Roho mtakatifu akiwa ndani ya mtu na akapewa ruhusa ya kufanya kama atakavyo anaweza kufanya mambo makuu sana.

    Suala la lugha gani mtu atanena huwa ni la Roho mwenyewe kutokana na kusudi la kunena huko kwa lugha. Kama kunena kule kwa lugha kuna ujumbe unaotakiwa uwafikie wanaosikia basi Roho ana uwezo wa kuchagua lugha inayofaa pale. Siku ya pentecoste ilikuwa ni ‘huduma ya ajabu’! Hapakuwa na haja ya Mtafsiri. Kila mtu kwa kabila lake alipata ujumbe kutegemea na lugha yake! Kwenye kusanyiko la watu wa makabila mengi siyo rahisi kuweka watafsiri wa kutosha. Kutokana hali hiyo Roho mwenyewe aliifanya kazi hiyo ya kutafsiri kwa kuweka ujumbe ndani ya wale watu waliokuwa wakinena ili kila mtu aweze kuhudumiwa kiroho kibinafsi.

    Kama kunena kwa lugha ni maombi ya mnenaji kwa Mungu basi Roho anajuwa ni lugha gani inafaa kufikisha mahitaji hayo kwa Mungu. Kule kusikika na watu huwa ni ishara tu na wala haina maana kwamba Roho hawezi kuomba kimya kimya. Hili huwa linafanyika wakati Roho anaugua kwa kumuombea mtu sawa sawa na andiko katika Rom 8:26-27 lenye maneno yasemayo: “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God”.

    Kwa hiyo kuna uwezekano kabisa maombi mengine ayafanyayo mtu katika Roho yanaweza kuwa ni kwa ajili ya kukemea roho chafu katika ulimwengu wa roho. Haya si lazima binaadamu aelewe maana yake.

    Tatizo la kuigwa kwa ‘kunena’:

    Kunena kokote lazima kuambatane na maneno. Na pia hakuna maneno yanayosikiwa na masikio ambayo kinywa cha binaadamu hakiwezi kuyatamka. Kwa hiyo inawezekana kabisa mtu akaiga yale maneno kama WASANII WENGI SIKU HIZI KWENYE MAIGIZO YAO HUSIKIKA ‘WAKINENA’ KIMAIGIZO’ japo wao hata Yesu mwenyewe hawamtaki! Hapa vile vile andiko katika Yakobo 3:6-10, kuhusu udogo wa ulimi lakini matatizo yake makubwa sana, linaweza kutufaa.

    Kunena kwa lugha ni moja ya mambo ambayo yanatakiwa yawe ya kuheshimika sana. Lakini kwa sababu uharibifu wa siku zetu hizi, binaadamu sasa hana mpaka. Ndiyo maana Yuda akaandika hivi katika Yuda 1:10 “But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves” na katika Yuda 1:19 “These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit”

    Kwa kufupisha ni kwamba watu wanaweza hata kuigiza kunena lakini kwa sababu Roho hayuko ndani yao wanajihatarishia nafsi zao wenyewe!

    3.Umeulizia pia kama ‘kunena’ peke yake ndiyo kitu kinachoweza kuwafanya watu wafahamu kwamba huyo kajazwa na Roho.

    Katika Mark 16:17-18 tunapata maneno muhimu sana ambayo ni Yesu mwenyewe aliyeyasema. Yesu alisema hivi “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover”

    Ishara alizozisema Yesu hutokea mahali alipo Roho mtakatifu, kwa mtu anayemwamini. Kwa kuwa uwepo wa Roho ndio huleta mambo hayo hivyo ni dhahiri kabisa kila alipo roho mambo hayo ni lazima yatokee. Tukisema tuchaguwe dalili fulani tu zinatosha kudhihirisha mimi naona itakuwa ni kumpangia Roho wa Mungu. Mambo uliyoyataja kama vile kutabiri, kufundisha, kufanya miujiza, kupambanua roho mbalimbali, au matunda kama upendo, furaha, amani, uvumili vu, wema, fadhili, uaminifu, upole, kiasi ni matendo ambayo hutokana na uwepo wa Roho Mtakatifu. Lakini mambo kama uaminifu, kufundisha, kufadhili, upole (nk) yanaweza kufanywa na mtu hata kama hana Roho Mt. Kwa hiyo siyo dalili tosha kwamba mtu huyo amejazwa Roho. Lakini kama Roho yupo ni lazima kazi zake na udhihirisho wake vitaonekana ikiwa ni pamoja na kunena kama ule msemo usemao penye MOTO hapakosi MOSHI.

    4. Wanenaji wa lugha ni wengi lakini wafasiri ni wachache. Hili ni kweli.

    Kufasiri lugha ni karama ya Roho. Ni baadhi ya karama ambazo uonekanaji wake hutegemea kiwango cha kiroho cha mtu,. Mtume Paul aliandika katika 1Cor 12:11 hivi “But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will” Hapa pia tunaona kwamba anayegawa KARAMA ni Roho mwenyewe. Roho hugawa karama kutokana na hali ya kiroho ya mtu husika na kwa kusudi linalotakiwa. (i)Kama hakuna mtu wa kuibeba na kuitumia karama hiyo vizuri Roho hawezi kuileta. Lakini pia (ii)karama ya kufasiri lugha haiwezi kuwepo pasipo lugha za kufasiriwa. Kama nilivyoandika pale juu si kila kunena kwa lugha ni kwa ajili ya watu. Kunena kule tu kuliko kwa ajili ya watu ndiko kunatakiwa kufasiriwa. Sasa kama kunena kwingi kwa watu kukawa ni Roho anaugua tu kwa sababu ya udhaifu wa kiroho ulioko ndani ya mnenaji HAPO HAPATAKUWA NA CHA KUFASIRI. (iii)Kiwango cha utakatifu, ukomavu wa kiroho na shauku ya kumtumikia Mungu ndicho humfanya Roho agawe karama. Karama haziwezi gawiwa kwa wakristo ambao siku zote ni wachanga.

    Mafundisho mengi siku hizi ni kuhusu watu kupata baraka za mwilini. Magari, Scholarships, Pesa nk. Katika hali ya namna hii (iv)hakuna mafundisho mengi yanayosisitiza juu ya Karama za Roho ili kuwaandaa watu kujiweka katika nafasi ya kutumiwa na Roho. Roho mtakatifu hawezi mwaga karama kwa watu ambao mtazamo wao ni KUPATA MAMBO YA MWILINI TU huku WAKIWA WAMEYAPA MSISITIZO MDOGO MAMBO YA ROHONI YA UFALME WA MUNGU. Kwa hiyo inawezekana pia karama ya kufasiri lugha tumeisahau kwa sababu (v)TUKO BIZE NA KUOMBA MKATE WA KILA SIKU huku tukiwa tumesahau KUURUHUSU UFALME WA MUNGU USHUKE HAPA DUNIANI NA KURUHUSU MAPENZI YAKE YAFANYIKE KATIKA MAISHA YETU. Tukitanguliza mapenzi yetu Mungu hawezi kutulazimisha kutuletea mapenzi yake!

    5. Kunena kwa lugha bila tafsiri kwenye kusanyiko la watu hatuwezi sema moja kwa moja kwamba ni machafuko hadi tumefahamu nini kinanenwa kwa lugha hizo. 1Cor 14:33.

    Hebu tufuatilie kidogo maandiko hayo:

    14:27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.

    Hapa inazungumzia kwamba kule kunena ambako ni kwa ajili ya watu kunufaika kinachonenwa hapo ni lazima kuwe na ufasiri. Kwamba kama una ujumbe basi usizidi jumbe 3 na kisha utafsiriwe ili kuunufaisha mwili wa kristo.

    14:28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.

    Kama kukiwa na unabii na hakuna mtafsiri bora nabii huyo akae kimya kwa sababu atakachokinena hakitawasaidia wale watu wanaosikia.

    14:29 Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.

    Hapa tunapata point kwamba ujumbe huu ni mahsusi kwa ajili ya manabii, yaani mtu ambaye ndani yake amefunuliwa ujumbe kwa ajili ya kanisa.

    14:30&31 If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold
    his peace. For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.

    Hapa anaeleza jinsi ambavyo ni muhimu kuwa na utaratibu katika kutoa unabii. Kama kuna mtu ana unabii na mwingine akaona kuwa na msukumo kwamba na yeye ana unabii anatakiwa atulie kwa lengo wa watu wote wajifunze na kufarijika.

    14:32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.

    Roho za manabii huwatii manabii. Kwa maana kwamba Nabii anayeongozwa na Roho wa Mungu anaweza kuusubirisha unabii uliooko ndani yake, au kuitiisha ile roho inayosukuma unabii hadi wakati atakapoona kwamba sasa anaweza kuruhusu ili unabii huo uweze kuwasaidia wanaosikiliza. Hii pia ni tabia ya kuwa na kiasi, ambayo ni tunda la Roho Mt.

    14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

    Hatimaye tunafikia ule mstari ulioutoa kama rejea kwamba Mungu si Mungu wa machafuko bali amani. Yaani ni mjumuisho wa mistari hii niliyoinukuu hapa kwamba mtu akitabiri kwa lugha isiyoeleweka halafu kukawa hakuna mtu wa kutafsiri; kisha ikatokea watu wengi wakawa wanatoa unabii kwa wakati mmoja, au mtu akiona mwingine anataoa unabii naye akainuka na kuanza kutoa wa kwake HAYO NDIYO MACHAFUKO – confusion! Si wingi wa unabii unaoweza kuwasaidia wasikilizaji bali ni kwa kiasi gani watu hao wameuelewa unabii huo.

    Hata hivyo maandiko haya yaliandikwa wakati ule ambao karama ya unabii ilikuwa ikifanya kazi kwa wingi katika kanisa. Ikafika mahali ubinaadamu ukaingia na kusababisha watu wengi watabiri kwa fujo wakidhani kwamba kufanya vile ndiyo kiwango cha juu cha roho. Ndipo Paul akaandika maneno haya kwamba jambo la muhimu ni watu kuuelewa unabii unaoletwa kwao na si wingi wa watu wanaotabiri pasipo kuwa na utafsiri wa unabii huo. Yanaweza yasifae sana kwa kanisa ambalo hata KUNENA tu wengine wanapinga au utakuta watu kunena ni hadi amekuja mhubiri maalumu kanisani kwao ili awasisitizie umuhimu wa kufanya hivyo. Kunena kwa ukame namna hiyo hakujafikia kiwango cha kwamba watu waanze kutabiri kwa wingi pasipo wafasiri.

    Kunena kwa lugha ambako siyo unabii katika kusanyiko hakuwezi kuwa ni machafuko. Kama tu ilivyokuwa kwa siku ya Pentekoste kwamba watu walikuwa wakinena kwa lugha tofauti tofauti kwa wakati mmoja. Lakini kila mtu alipata ujumbe kwa lugha yake. Watu wanaponena kwa lugha kwa pamoja wengine huwa wanamsifu na kumwabudu Mungu, wengine wanabomoa ngome za giza, wengine wanaongezea nguvu za kiroho nk. Kunena huku si machafuko. Kunena kunakokuwa ni machafuko ni kule kunena ambako ndani yake kuna unabii lakini haufasiriwi au watu zaidi ya mmoja wakatoa unabii kwa pamoja!

    MUHIMU kufahamu ni kwamba Si kila Kunena ni huduma. Huwa ni huduma tu pale ambako kinachonenwa ni unabii. Lakini kama mtu ananena kwa ajili ya kujiombea yeye mwenyewe hiyo si huduma. Huduma ni mtu kuwasaidia wengine hata kama naye atasaidika kwa huduma anayoitoa!

    6. Katika 1Cor 12:31 pameandikwa juu ya kutafuta karama zilizo bora. Lakini haifafanuwi zaidi kwamba karama bora ni hizi au zile. Na kwa kusoma haraka haraka mtu unaweza kufikiri kwamba upendo pia ni moja ya karama hizi. Lakini hapa tena naomba tufuatane wakati tukipitia maandiko:

    1Cor 12:1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

    Hapa Mtume Paul ananza utangulizi kuhusu mafundisho yake juu kuhusiana na karama za rohoni.

    12:4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

    Ziko karama tofauti tofauti lakini kutoka kwa Roho huyo huyo mmoja. Kunena kwa lugha siyo karama bali ni kipawa au zawadi. (Matendo 10:45) [kwa kiingereza vyote ni ‘gifts’]. Kunena kwa lugha ni udhihirisho tu kwamba ndani ya mtu huyo kuna Roho Mt. Mkristo aliyejazwa na Roho ni PLATFORM ya karama kufanya kazi. Ndiyo maana watu wanaweza kuwa wamejazwa na Roho lakini si wote wakawa na karama zinazofanana. {Kuna dini zinazofundisha kwamba Roho mtakatifu ni kipawa lakini wanalinganisha na karama, kwamba hugawiwa kwa mtu kama Mungu apendavyo. Roho mtakatifu ni zawadi kwa watu wote wanaomwamini Yesu, ni moja ya ishara kwamba mtu huyo anamwamini Yesu.. Karama ndizo hugawiwa kutokana na Mungu apendavyo. Karama huwekwa kwa mtu ambaye tayari ana Roho mtakatifu ndani yake. Karama ni huduma za Roho Mtakatifu ambazo huziweka ndani ya watu ili zitende kazi katika ulimwengu wa mwili. Roho mtakatifu anahitaji mwili ili aweze kuwahudumia watakatifu walio katika mwili. Kwa kuwa yeye ni roho ndiyo maana hutumia miili ya watakatifu, ambao miili yao wameilinda kama hekalu takatifu la Mungu. 1Cor 3:17 ; 1Cor 6:19}.

    12:7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

    Lakini udhihirisho wa Roho kupitia karama hizo huja kwa mtu kwa lengo la faida ya wote, yaani mwili wa Kristo. Mistari inayofuatia hapa inaelezea jinsi ambavyo mgawanyo wa karama unatakiwa kuheshimika kwa sababu kila mtu, au kila karama ina umuhimu wake katika mwili wa Kristo.

    12:27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

    Hapa ndipo anahitimisha kwamba watu wote wanaomwamini Yesu ni mwili wa Kristo, kila mmoja kwa sehemu yake na huduma yake au karama aliyojaliwa na Roho Mtakatifu.

    12:31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

    Ndipo tunaufikia mstari wako ambao ndio uliutoa kama rejea; maneno ambayo mtume Paul anahimiza watu juu ya kutafuta karama zilizo bora na kusema kwamba ataonyesha njia iliyo bora. Njia ipi?…..njia ya NAMNA YA KUTAFUTA KARAMA ZILIZO BORA!

    1Cor 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

    ‘Charity’ katika Biblia za Kiswahili imetafsiriwa kama ‘Upendo’. Lakini ‘Charity’ siyo ‘Love’. Hili linahitaji ufafanuzi kidogo ili mtu afahamu kwamba ‘charity’ siyo ‘love’. Baadhi ya tafsiri kuhusu ‘charity’ ni hizi hapa:

    A kindly and lenient attitude toward people
    An activity or gift that benefits the public at large

    Kutokana na tafsiri hizi tunaona kwamba charity ni zaidi ya upendo. Upendo ‘love’ ni mtazamo wa mtu alio nao moyoni mwake juu ya watu wengine. Lakini ‘charity’ ni ule utayari wa mtu kujitoa au anavyojitoa kwa watu wengine. Maelezo yanayofuatia yaani mstari wa 1 hadi 12 yanaeleza tabia za Upendo ‘charity’ na kisha anatoa conclusion katika mstari ufuatao.

    13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

    Kutokana na maandiko haya ni kwamba mtu akishaokoka, akiamini [faith] huwa ni mtu wa kuishi kwa matumaini [hope] kwa ajili ya kusubiri kufunuliwa kwa uhalisi wa Kristo. Lakini wakati mtu anasubiri kwa matumaini anachotakiwa kuendelea nacho ni upendo [charity] kwa ajili ya kutimiza wajibu wake kama kiungo katika mwili wa Kristo. Ndipo akasema kuwa lililo kuu katika haya matatu ni ‘charity’.

    1Cor 14:1 Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.

    Hapa anahimiza kwamba watu wanatakiwa kufuata ‘charity’ na kisha karama za rohoni lakini kwa shauku kubwa zaidi kwamba waweze kutabiri! Maneno hayo ya mtume Paul yanaonyesha wazi kwamba ‘charity’ ni kitu kimoja na ‘spiritual gifts’ ni kitu kingine. Kwa maneno mengine UPENDO (charity) SIYO KARAMA bali ni TABIA ambayo mtu anaweza kuitimiza mwenyewe kwa kukusudia. Lakini karama siyo kitu kinachoweza kupatikana kama matunda ya jitihada za kibinaadamu. Upendo unaosemwa hapa ni sawa na ATMOSPHERE kwa ajili ya kusababisha KARAMA ziweze kufanya kazi vizuri.

    KUNENA na UPENDO vinategemeana. Kunena pasipo upendo [charity] haifaidii chochote kwa sababu mtu huyo hawezi kufanyika kiungo bora katika mwili wa kristo. Lakini pia upendo pasipo kunena [kwa madhumuni kwamba kunena ndiyo udhihirisho wa Roho mtakatifu] humfanya mtu anayetenda matendo hayo yanayoweza kusemwa ni ya upendo kama vile ufadhili, upole, kufundisha, uvumilivu, furaha, amani nk asiwe na tofauti yoyote na mtu mwingine anayefanya hayo lakini akiwa hana Roho wa Mungu ndani. Ni kweli mambo hayo ni matunda ya roho lakini si kila afanyaye hayo ana Roho wa Mungu. Haiwezekani kuwa na Roho wa Mungu halafu mtu asifanye hayo lakini inawezekana mtu akafanya hayo pasipo kuwa na Roho wa Mungu. Ndiyo maana kuna watu ambao hawajaokoka lakini huonekana ni wema zaidi kuliko mtu fulani anayejulikana kwamba ameokoka. Kwa hiyo mambo haya mawili yanatakiwa yafuatane sambamba katika mafundisho ya ukristo.

    Tatizo lililopo la watu KUNENA kwa lugha lakini mwenendo wao hautofautiani na wapagani linasababishwa na mambo mengi. Baadhi ya sababu hizo ni kukosekana kwa mafundisho mazuri katika kanisa hilo; kiwango cha kiroho cha kiongozi wa kanisa hilo; hali ya kiroho ya washirika hao mmoja mmoja; kusudi la mtu mmoja mmoja kuwepo kanisani hapo. Mafundisho yakiwa adimu kanisani hapo kisha kiongozi akawa mbovu siyo rahisi sana kwa washirika wa kanisa hilo kuwa watu wema. Kanisa linalolea roho na tabia chafu huwa ni kama chuo cha migogoro. Kiongozi akiwa mcha Mungu huwa anaweza kuwasaidia kwa kuwafundisha na ikilazimika kuwaadibisha kwa kuwatenga wale ambao bado wanataka kuendelea matendo maovu katika mwili wa kristo. Katika kanisa la namba hiyo huwa hakuna nafasi ya mtu ambaye anataka kukaa kanisani huku akiendelea kuishi kama mpagani.

    Lakini pia dunia imeharibika. Wokovu umeingiliwa na mamluki wa shetani. Mahali ambapo karama za Roho hazitendi kazi kikamilifu, hasa karama ya utambuzi wa roho, hali ni mbaya sana kwa sababu watu wengine huonekana kama wananena kutokana na Roho wa Mungu lakini kumbe ni mapepo. Watu wengine hunena kwa kuiga. [kama ambavyo nimeandika huko juu]. Lakini wengine yawezekana wakawa wananena kweli lakini wamekosa ‘charity’. Kwa hiyo kunena kwa watu hawa ni roho anaugua ndani yao ili wabadilike. [ndiyo maana nimesema binadamu anaweza ku-exercise charity mwenyewe]. Watu hawa ambao wananena kutokana na Roho wa Mungu lakini mwenendo wao ukawa ni mbaya na hawataki kubadilika MWISHO WAO HUWA HAUKO MBALI. Huwa haipiti muda mrefu ukasikia ameacha wokovu na wengine Mungu huwapiga ili kuondoa vikwazo kwa wana wa Mungu na pia kulinda heshima ya Jina lake!

    Yesu aliposema kwamba mtawatambuwa kwa matunda yao ni pamoja na watu hawa.Mtu ambaye huonekana akinena sana kanisani lakini nje ya kanisa akawa mgomvi, hataki suluhu, msengenyaji, nk ni dalili kwamba kunena kwake huko kuna walakini. Mtu aliyejawa na Roho wa Mungu ni lazima awe na mwenendo unaostahili.

    Karama za Roho mtakatifu zimesahauliwa sana.Mfano: Kuna dhehebu moja maarufu la kiroho walishawahi kuzuwia unabii na karama zingine lakini nimesikia sasa wanataka kuruhusu tena ili kama mtu ana neno la unabii aseme tu. Sasa kama watu wanaosema wameokoka na wanaishi kwa kufuata mafundisho ya Biblia wanafikia hatua ya KUMZIMISHA ROHO NA KUUDHARAU UNABII kwa kukubaliana kwenye vikao hali itakuwaje kwa wale ambao hata Roho mwenyewe anaonekana kama ni jambo la watu wa kale tu na si kwa siku zetu?

    Mungu ana mambo mazuri sana kupitia Roho Mtakatifu lakini kwa kuwa tunamzimisha sana Roho, Mungu anatuacha tufuate matakwa ya mioyo yetu. Lakini kwa kufanya hivyo tunakosa mengi sana ambayo yangefanya tuweze kuiona furaha ya wokovu na pia tunamhuzunisha Roho Mtakatifu sana. Mwisho wa siku sisi ndio tutakuwa the losers!

  19. Bravo John Paul na Emmy, kwakweli nimejifunza mengi kuhusu hili. Swali langu mie nilipojazwa Roho Mt ni karibu mwaka sasa mwili unatetemeka na pia mara nyingine mikono inanyooka nahisi kama umeme unapita kama nikiwa naomba au wanafanya maombezi ya uponyaji maana ninavifungo. Nilimuuliza Mch akaniambia ni Roho anakusafisha na kweli roho za uchungu, kukataliwa zimenitoka na nimepokea baraka nyingi. Tatizo ni wanamaombi wenzangu wanasema nirudi tena kuitika Asante Yesu ili ninene kwa lugha wanayoongea wao ktk Roho, lakini nikizama ktk maombi inatoka hiyo hiyo sauti ya kakakaa, mie binafsi nina amani na nina amini ni Roho aliendani yangu ila wao wanasema ni pepo nisiombe hivyo. Niliposoma maelezo yenu nimeelewa kuwa huwezi ku control hicho kitu, nami naona ni sawa kwani ninafikia hapo ktk maombi na sifa iweje awe ni pepo anaetoa sauti, labda akipingana na Roho Mt lakini mie nimeomba kumuuliza Mungu naona jibu ni niendelee kuomba maana nikimaliza nakuwa mwepesi na amani moyoni. Je nafanya sawa?

  20. Haleluya ndugu zangu,

    Namshukuru Mungu kwa michango mbalimabali inayoendelea hapa kuhusu unenaji wa lugha ambao ni kipawa cha Roho mtakatifu. Nafurahi pia kwa ndugu yangu Patrick kujifunza, nimefurahi sana. Ila nimshauri asilazimishe kunena kwa lugha, binafsi nilikuwa na shauku kubwa sana ya kunena kwa lugha baada ya kuokoka. Nikawa najiona duni au nimepungukiwa na kitu haswa ninapowaona wenzangu wanajimwaga mbele za Mungu kwa kunena kwa lugha. Nilikutana na mafundisho yaliyonikatisha tamaa zaidi kuwa usiponena kwa lugha hujaokoka. Namshukuru Mungu kwani hili lilizidi kunipa hamu ya kuutafuta uso wa Mungu anijalie neema hiyo nami. Siku nisiyotazamia nilishangaa muujiza huu unakuja kwangu na nikaanza kunena kwa lugha, ninabarikiwa ninatiwa nguvu mno mno ninaponena kwa lugha.

    Ndugu yangu John na wengine wote nina mambo ninayotaka kujifunza ambayo yananipa tashwishwi ninapoona unenaji wa lugha katika Kanisa la leo. SINA SHIDA NA KIPAWA HIKI CHA ROHO MTAKATIFU SHIDA IPO KATIKA TARATIBU NA MAPOKEO YETU.

    1) Acts2:4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. Ni sahihi kumfundisha mtu kunena kwa lugha mfano kumwambia aseme asante Yesu asante Yesu….. mara nyingi?

    2) Kunena kwa lugha siku ya Pentekoste watu toka makabila mbalimbali waliwasikia wakimwadhimisha Bwana. Kwa nilivyoelewa Roho mtakatifu alipowashukia walizungunza kwa lugha za mojawapo ya makabila yaliyoko duniani(lugha ya kibinadamu au ya kabila fulani humu duniani)
    Acts 2:6-12 When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking in his own language. Utterly amazed, they asked: “Are not all these men who are speaking Galileans? Then how is it that each of us hears them in his own native language? Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome (both Jews and converts to Judaism Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!” Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?” Ndugu yangu John na wengine unaposikia watu wengi wakizungunza maneno kama yanafanana hivi (mfano “shakaribokarika”) kiasi kuwa hata watu wa duniani wameweza hata kuyanukuu hii inakaaje? Nisaidieni hapo jamani.

    3)Katika 1Korintho 12 Neno la Mungu linaonesha kuwa Mungu anagawa hivi vipawa ATAKAVYO YEYE na SIO TUNAVYOTAKA SISI. Pia ukimfahamu Mungu katika namna fulani Mungu anaonekana kwako kwa namna ile unayomfahamu. Mfano ukimjua Yesu kama Mwokozi anakuokoa kweli, lakini usipomjua kama mwalimu hutakuwa tayari kujifunza kwake, pia ukijua kuwa kunena kwa lugha tu ndiyo dalili ya kujazwa Roho mtakatifu unafunga nafasi ya kujazwa kwa kudhihirishwa kwa vipawa vingine.Roho Mtakatifu ni Mungu ana namna nyingi za kutenda kazi, kwa nini tusimruhusu?. Mtu akijazwa Roho ili sisi wengine kujua ni lazima anene kwa lugha tu? Au hata akianza kutabiri, kufundisha, kufanya miujiza,kupambanua roho mbalimbali, au matunda kama upendo, furaha, amani, uvumili vu, wema, fadhili, uaminifu, upole, kiasi yakionekana kwake?

    4) Kwa nini wanenaji wa lugha ni wengi ila wafasiri wa lugha ni wachache?

    5) Kawaida ya kunena kwa lugha bila tafsiri katika makusanyiko ni sahihi? Haya siyo machafuko? 1Korintho 14:33.

    6) Katika 1Korintho 12:31 Basi takeni kwa moyo karama zilizo bora. Nami nitawaonyesha njia iliyo bora kupita zote. Katika mlango wa 13 anaonyesha hata ukisema kwa lugha za malaika kama sina upendo ni kelele tupu tu. Nikaona kuwa karama iliyo kuu ni upendo.Je! Niko sahihi? Ingawa ni muhimu sana kunena kwa lugha, je ni sahihi kuhimiza kwa nguvu sana kunena kwa lugha kuliko kuhimiza Upendo? Nauliza haya kwani nimeona shida iliyopo kati ya baadhi ya wana wa Mungu na baadhi ya madhehebu ambao wananena kwa lugha sana lakini hawapendani, wanasemana vibaya, wivu, matengano n.k.

    NAOMBA TUENDELEE KUELEKEZANA KATIKA UPENDO. NIKO TAYARI KUJIFUNZA WAPENDWA.

  21. Mpendwa Patrick,

    Namshukuru Mungu kwa kuwa umepata kitu cha kukusaidia kutoka katika mchango wangu kuhusu mada hii. Pia nashukuru kwa kunitakia baraka katika jina takatifu la Yesu Kristo.Utukufu wote ni kwa Mungu. Ninaamini pamoja na wewe kwamba baada ya muda mfupi utapata breakthrough katika jambo hili.

Lakini tu pia nilitaka niweke angalizo hili; Kama ambavyo kuna watu wanatumia vibaya maandiko, kama ambavyo watu wanavyojaribu kutumia neno “Roho Mtakatifu” kufanya mambo yao, wapo pia ambao wanatumia vibaya karama hii ya kunena kwa lugha.

    Kutokana na “wasanii hawa”, mambo mengi (si fundisho hili pekee) yamekuwa na confusion ya hali ya juu na hata wengine kuliweka pembeni kabisa! Mfano wa hili ni wale wasemao bila kunena kwa lugha huwezi kuokoka/hujaokoka.

    Kwa kuwa haya ni mambo ya Rohoni, basi hakikisha unamsikiliza Roho mwenyewe na wale atakaowatumia. Utajuaje? Jibu ni rahisi, Jiepushe na mawazo ya watu yasiyoendana na Biblia. Pima kila neno uone kama ndivyo lilivyo (Watu wa Berea?)

  23. Truly John Paul and Emmy have clarified this important subject to Patrick and all of us very clearly. What I can say is those who have not received this gift “Go for it”.

    It has many benefits to believers, a point that Jesus himself said “…you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8). There are so many other benefits, some already mentioned by John and Emmy.

    The subject of Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues in a very sticky one. So many Christians are denied the right to receive Him because of wrong teachings in some churches. Because of lack of Holy Spirit in believers, we have children of God who are powerless and lack some many other qualities that the Holy Spirit does when He indwells a believer.

    I urge believers to search the scriptures for themselves, ask questions and this will lead them to find the truth that will set them free.

    Many critics who deny receiving the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues are those who have not experienced the gift. I have not heard anybody who received this gift who said “I did not like Him”. I have testimonies after testimonies including mine loving the experience and maintaining it throughout my Christian life.

    I may have gone out of the subject a bit but I believe this will benefit others who attend places where they don’t emphasize on this gift.

    A Brand New Language

    Man is a spirit, but he has a soul and lives in a body. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 says, “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” (NKJV). The human body is actually man’s domicile, his dwelling place.

    When a person is born again, his spirit is recreated, and that’s why the Bible says if any man be in Christ he’s a new creature, a new type of being that never existed before (2 Corinthians 5:17). God, by the Holy Spirit, then gives that recreated human spirit a new language and that language is what the scriptures refer to as “tongues of angels” in 1Corinthians 13:1.

    After His resurrection and just before He was received up into Heaven, Jesus gave His disciples a rundown of the characteristic features of the new creatures by which they could be easily identified. He listed to them the many things they will be known for, things they will be able to do in His Name:

    “…these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” (Mark 16:17-18).

    When Jesus said “these signs shall follow them that believe,” He wasn’t making a promise. Many people misinterpret this passage of Scripture as a promise Jesus made to the believer that these signs will follow him, but it wasn’t a promise.

    You have to understand that at this point in time, Jesus was talking to His disciples about the forthcoming generation of the Church; a special breed called a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation and a peculiar people (1 Peter 2:9). It was to them He was referring when He said these signs shall follow them that believe.

    If you have believed in the Name of the Lord Jesus and have been born again, then you’re the one He was talking about in Mark 16:17-18. You’re to be identified by these signs.

    During the years Jesus walked the face of the earth, the Holy Spirit hadn’t yet come to dwell on earth. He came to earth after Jesus was taken up into Heaven following His resurrection. In John 14:16 Jesus promised His disciples that He would ask the Father and He would give them another Comforter the Holy Spirit Who would abide with them forever.

    Acts 2:1-4: “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they (120 disciples of Christ) were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

    This was when the Holy Spirit came to the earth and these one hundred and twenty disciples were the first Christians to receive Him and have tongues of fire. The Bible records that “they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance” (Acts 2:4).

    Ever since that day when He came into the earth with a sound as of a rushing mighty wind, the Holy Spirit has never left the earth. From that day He has been filling every believer in Christ Jesus who receives Him and has been empowering us to do the works of Christ. He is in charge of God’s children on earth; He’s the Boss of the Church.

    If you are born again but you haven’t been filled with the Holy Ghost, the Lord wants you to receive Him today. Your salvation is the only qualification you require to receive the Holy Spirit. Now, you can simply ask by faith and receive Him into your spirit.

    The presence of the Holy Spirit in your life makes you more than a man. You may still look, talk and walk the same way but you have become His living tabernacle. You have become more than a man as the very life and power of God now dwells in you.

    Benefits Of Speaking in Tongues

    Speaking in Tongues Builds You Up:
    When you’re born again and filled with the Holy Ghost, the power of God comes to reside in you. This power is triggered off or set in motion when you speak in other tongues.”He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; …” (1 Corinthians 14:4). The Greek word translated “edifieth” is “oikodomeo,” which means to construct or build up, to embolden or charge up like you would charge a battery. This Scripture is therefore telling us that the one who speaks in an unknown tongue builds himself up like an edifice; he emboldens himself and charges himself like a battery.

    He that speaks in an unknown tongue builds up himself. When you spend time to speak in other tongues, you’re actually building up your spirit man. “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost” (Jude 1:20). When you speak in tongues, you’re charging yourself in the spirit and stirring up the power of God resident within you. Then strength comes and the glory of God is revealed in your life. If you were weak in your Christian life, as you speak in other tongues, the power of God that has laid dormant within you would be stirred up and you’ll be strengthened to do the things of God again.

    It Emboldens You: “He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; …” (1 Corinthians 14:4). Remember that one of the meanings of “edifieth” is “embolden,” so “he that speaketh in an unknown tongue emboldens himself.” Speaking in tongues is the solution to fear and timidity. If you ever become timid about anything, speak in tongues.

    As a Christian, know that God has not given you the spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Activate the power within you by spending time speaking in other tongues; it works! Speaking in tongues stops all fear; it emboldens you and builds up your inner man so strong that you’ll have the dominion over all your adversaries.

    It Empowers You To Preach: I heard a nine year old boy say, “I began speaking in tongues when I couldn’t preach the Word of God to my classmates at school.” He said, “When I started speaking in tongues, I became bold. Then when I went to school, I preached to all my mates.” Age has nothing to do with it; this was a nine year old boy speaking in tongues.

    There is no limitation as to what the Spirit of God can do in your life today if you would spend some quality time to speak in other tongues. He’s not a respecter of persons; what He’s done for one, He’ll do for another under the same circumstances.

    It Charges You Up: : When you speak in other tongues, you charge your spirit. This is a “quick charge,” because your spirit responds very quickly. It’ll only take a few minutes and suddenly the anointing is stirred within you and you’re turned into another man.
    Back in the Old Testament, every time the Spirit of God (Holy Ghost) came upon Samson, he was changed from an ordinary man into a man of superhuman strength. All it took was a moment for that change to occur.

    The Bible records in one instance that he “took the doors of the gate of the city, and the two posts, and went away with them, bar and all, and put them upon his shoulders, and carried them up to the top of an hill that is before Hebron” (Judges 16:3). Samson was so charged that he was able to do what was otherwise humanly impossible.

    If this happened in the Old Testament when the Holy Spirit could only come upon a person for a period of time to enable him accomplish a God-given purpose, how much more now that He has come to abide with us forever!

    Suala la Kunena kwa lugha ni suala la kuamini na si suala la kuelewa. Hili ni moja ya mambo ambayo akili ya binaadamu haiwezi kuelewa. Kinachotakiwa hapa ni kuamini kwa Moyo wala si kuelewa kwa akili. Zingatia tafsiri ya IMANI katika Ebrania 11. Imani hushughulika na mambo yasiyoonekana pamoja na hili la kunena kwa lugha. Akili haiwezi kuelewa kwa sababu ni suala lililo katika ulimwengu wa roho!

    Swali la nini cha kufanya ili uweze kunena kwa lugha nitalijibu mwisho. Lakini kwa sasa nitaanza na maswali yako ya mwishoni ambayo yamenifanya nifahamu mtazamo ulionao kuhusu suala la kunena kwa lugha:

    1. Kutokana na maelezo yako ya mwisho mwisho inaonyesha jinsi ambavyo umejaribu kulielewa suala hili la kunena kwa lugha kwa kutumia akili. Kamwe hutaweza kulielewa kwa akili kwa sababu liko katika dimension tofauti na ya akili. Ndiyo maana unafika wakati unajitahidi kupambanua maneno yanayonenwa katika roho uyapambanuwe kwa kutumia akili. Matokeo yake unajikuta kusikia kila unayemsikia ‘ananena’ ni kama vile anaongea kwa lugha tofauti na mwingine. Akili ya mwilini haiwezi kupambanua mambo ya rohoni.

    2. Utashi huu wa kutaka kulielewa suala hili kwanza kwa akili umeweka kitu kama ukuta ndani ya moyo. Suala la kunena kwa lugha ni suala ambalo hata Yesu mwenyewe alisema kwamba ni moja ya ishara zitakazofuatana nao wanaomwamini. Kwa hiyo ni jambo ambalo ni halisi kwa wale waaminio.

    3. Kinachokosekana kwako ni ile hali ya KUITIISHA akili ili iweze KUTII na ku-surrender linapokuja suala la kunena kwa lugha ili kuiacha imani ifanye kazi yake. [siyo kwamba nakuhukumu; inawezekana hujawahi kuelezwa haya]. Imani hiyo ambayo ilikusababisha kuamini kwamba ukimkubali Yesu na kumkaribisha moyoni utakuwa UMEOKOKA ndiyo hiyo hiyo inayoweza kuamini juu ya uwezo wa Roho mtakatifu kuingia ndani yako na kukusababisha uongee kwa lugha usiyo ifahamu.

    4. Kunena kwa lugha ni mawasiliano katika ulimwengu wa roho. Katika suala hili akili haiwezi kuelewa maana yake hadi karama ya Roho mtakatifu ya kutafsiri lugha imetumika ili kuyatafsiri kutoka katika ulimwengu wa roho kuyaleta katika ulimwengu wa mwili. 1Cor 12:10. Kutokana na ukweli huu ni wazi kwamba mtu anaponena kwa lugha huwa haelewi maana yake. 1Cor 14:14.

    Suala la “kakakakaka” au “rikorikosa zama….” ni tatizo katika ulimwengu wa mwili tu lakini katika ulimwengu wa roho wala si tatizo. Kumbuka yale maneno ambayo yaliandikwa na kiganja kwenye sherehe ya mfalme Nebukadneza katika Dan 5:25. Maneno haya yalikuwa simply MENE, TEKEL na UPHARSIN lakini hebu soma tafsiri yake ilivyokuwa ndefu. Kwa ufupi ni kwamba mambo ya rohoni hayawezi kutii kanuni fulani ya kibinaadamu. Kinachotakiwa ni kuuacha ulimwengu wa roho uchukuwe mkondo wake.

    6. Kwangu mimi suala la lugha kuwa moja au nyingi naona liko nje ya uwezo wa binaadamu kwa kuwa suala la kutamka lugha hizo liko juu ya uwezo wake. Kwa kuwa ni Roho wa Mungu anayewezesha watu kunena lugha hizo yeye ndiye anajuwa kama ziko tofauti au la. Hata kama zikiwa ni tofauti SI KWA UTASHI binaadamu anaweza akaamua aongee ipi kati ya hizo! Hata hivyo mimi nafikiri katika ulimwengu wa roho inawezekana kusema lugha tofauti kila mara lakini yenye kueleweka kwa wale wanayoisikia pasipo kujifunza lugha hiyo mpya….hii ni katika ulimwengu wa roho [lakini hili ni langu kwamba nafikiria tu]

    7. Suala la kuongea kwa lugha ni suala la uvuvio. Katika kutulia mbele ya Mungu kuna nguvu huwa inakuja ambayo humfanya mtu atamke maneno ambayo siyo akili yake inayoongoza. Kwa kuliweka katika mfano suala hili ni kwamba kinywa kinapofunguka huku mtu ukiwa unafikiri utatamka “sa” lakini badala yake kinachotoka kinywani unaweza kukuta kikawa ni “pa”. Kwa maneno mengine Roho mtakatifu hutumia kinywa cha mtu kutamka maneno yaliyo katika ulimwengu wa roho. Si ubongo tena ambao hutumika hapa. [nafikia kiasi cha kufikiri kwamba kama kuna teknolojia ya ku-extract maneno toka katika ubongo wa mtu, maneno ya lugha tofauti ambayo mtu hunena kwa nguvu za Roho mtakatifu hayawezi kukutwa kwenye ubongo kwa sababu command hazikutoka kwenye ubongo…ingawa siwezi kuthibitisha hili kwa vitendo] Kwa hiyo inapotokea hali kama hii kwamba wewe unataka kutamka “Asante Yesu” lakini badala yake ukajikuta unatamka “kakakakaka” au “rikorikosa zama…” hapo unaweza kujuwa kwamba sasa tayari unanena kwa lugha. Kinachofuatia ni kujiachilia ili Roho Mtakatifu achukuwe mkondo wake.

    8. Mwisho:
    Kinachotakiwa kufanya ili mtu uweze kunena kwa lugha ni kuchukuwa hatua fulani ikiwa ni pamoja na zifuatazo:

    a). Makanisa ya kipentekoste huwa wana ibada maalumu kwa ajili ya maombezi ya ujazo wa Roho mtakatifu. Ujazo huu huambatana na kunena kwa lugha kama ishara muhimu kwamba mtu huyo amejazwa na Roho mtakatifu. Kinachofanyika kwenye maombezi haya ni kuwajenga watu kiimani kwamba si akili yao itakayowezesha hayo bali ni Roho wa Mungu kutokana na mtu binafsi anavojiachilia mwenyewe chini ya Mamlaka ya Roho mtakatifu. Kwa hiyo kama unaposali ni kanisa la kipentecoste [kwa maana ya kwamba wanaamini katika ujazo wa Roho Mt. pamoja na kunena kwa lugha] natumaini kutakuwa na ibada za namna hiyo. Kwa hiyo ni vema kwa shauku kabisa siku wanapotangaza kipindi cha namna hiyo ukajitahidi kuhudhuria na hata kama unaweza kuwa na maswali yanaweza kujibiwa hapo hapo na kisha maombezi yafanyika. Wengi huwezeshwa kunena kwa lugha kwa njia hii.

    b). Huwa inatokea mwingine asiweze kunena hapo hapo. Lakini hutiwa moyo kwa maneno ya faraja na kumhimiza aendelee kuwa na kiu. Na mtu wa namna hiyo akitoka na shauku hiyo wengine huweza kujazwa na kunena kwa lugha hata wakiwa safarini kurudi nyumbani, mwingine akiwa chumbani kwake usiku, bora tu mtu huyu yuko katika maombi ndani ya moyo wake wakati huo. Kitu kikubwa hapa ni ile shauku ya mtu aliyonayo na jinsi amlivyouandaa moyo wake. Mwingine aweza kuwa na shauku lakini moyoni bado akawa na wasi wasi na mashaka, Roho hawezi kushuka hadi mambo hayo yamesafishwa kabisa. Roho wa Mungu havamii. Ndiyo maana mtu anayebisha habari za kunena kwa lugha hawezi kunena kwa sababu yeye mwenyewe hataki!

    c. Jambo jingine la kufanya ili mtu uweze kunena kwa lugha ni kuzingatia moyoni kwa mzigo. Katika maombi yako ya binafsi ukawa unamuomba Mungu akuwezeshe kunena kwa lugha. Kama maombi hayo yanatoka moyoni na moyo wako ukawa ni msafi Mungu ni dhahiri, hakika atafanya. Wengi hunena kwa lugha kwa mara ya kwanza wakiwa mabwenini shuleni, akiwa nyumbani kwenye ibada ya familia, au akiwa amekwenda kufanya maombi yake binafsi chumbani. Utayari wa moyo na kiwango cha imani hufanikisha suala hilo. Lakini yote haya yamejengwa juu ya msingi wa UTAKATIFU.

    Mtu yeye yote aliyemkubali Yesu na kujimimina moyo kwake mbele za Mungu huwa hakuna kipingamizi kingine cha kuzuwia asinene kwa lugha. Katika suala hili adui wa mtu ni mtu mwenyewe kama ataruhusu akili ianze kujaribu kuongoza jambo hili muhimu!

    Hivi ndivyo nilivyojibu kwa sasa. Natumaini msomaji mwingine anaweza kuwa na majibu tofauti na haya lakini sidhani kama yanaweza kupingana lakini kama nimekosea mahali fulani nitakuwa na amani kusahihiswa. Lakini nilichoandika hapa ni mambo ambayo yamekuwa yakifanyika kwa ajili ya watu kuweza kunena kwa lugha na wengi wamekuwa wakifanikiwa kwa njia hizo nilizoandika na hata mimi nilifanikiwa kwa njia moja wapo ya hizo!

  28. Wapendwa Bwana Asifiwe. Hivi nifanyeje ili niweze kunena kwa lugha? Mimi sijabarikiwa kufanya hivyo. Is there a way to do it? Je wakati ninafanya maombi ndipo hutokea ghafla tu au ninakuwa najua kuwa sasa nataka ongea kwa lugha? Hili ni suala ambalo mimi nimejaribu kulielewa lakini nashindwa. Hiyo lugha ni moja au ziko nyingi? Yaana Roho Mtakatifu anazo lugha nyingi au ni moja? Na je wanaoiongea wanaelewa tafsiri yake? Maana kuna wengine utawasikia “kakakakaka” halafu hasemi zaidi ya “kakakaka”. Wengine “rikorikosa zama….” Jamani naomba kuelimishwa.
