The multi-talented Felis Mwambalo Mubibya  has just signed a contract with an American  recording label Tate Music Group (TMG) based in Mustang, Oklahoma, United States of  America. TMG signed this contract with Felis, after loving the music from his new album called Jipe Moyo/Take Heart. The project was recorded at Fnouk Music Studios in Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa and mastered at Audio Recording Studio (ARS) in Homewood, Illinois. USA.

The album is nearing it’s final production stage at Felis’s recording label, TMG, and they are expecting to launch to be in the middle of July in Crown Point, Indiana, USA. Felis will be the first artist from Central and East Africa to sign a contract with TMG.

Felis is a Congolese gospel artist with a passion to reach the world through music. Following the call of God he left his home town of Bukavu, DRC, to travel and minister in Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, and Kenya before making his home in Tanzania. Jipe Moyo is Felis’ third album, preceded by Yuko Njiani (He is on the Way), released in 2006, and Yesu ni Mungu (Jesus is God), released in 2008.

Jipe Moyo/Take Heart, uses a unique blend of Congolese and East African traditional sounds to communicate a deep, gospel message of hope and encouragement that is relevant for all cultures. This is what Felis had to say :

“Take Heart” is the message that God is speaking to the world right now. With all of the things that are happening, people are discouraged. They don’t know what to do or where to go. If you are experiencing abandonment from friends and family, losing jobs and/or hardship in achieving your goals, God says to you today, “Take Heart!”

“In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
